Volunteer & Staff PTSA Awards
Each year, the Washington State PTSA offers unique awards to recognize individuals who make significant contributions that enhance the education and enrichment of children. Recognition of an individual who makes a huge difference in supporting the children in our community is a wonderful way to acknowledge how much their service matters. Our recipients are recognized at our end of the year volunteer appreciation banquet.

Outstanding Advocate Award: Offered by the Washington State PTA to recognize and honor an individual for continued and dedicated service to ALL children and a demonstrated commitment to helping create strong policies related to the health, welfare, safety, and education of children and youth.

Outstanding Educator Award: Offered by the Washington State PTA to recognize an individual educator who goes beyond the normal expectations of their job. It honors an individual who demonstrates outstanding educational contributions. An outstanding educator could be a teacher, assistant, custodian, bus driver, administrator, or community member.

Honorary Life Member: Offered by the Washington State PTA to recognize and honor an individual who has contributed significantly to their school (local unit) PTSA. It is the highest honor a local unit can award.
